Making Your Own GO Link
GO is the aliasing system the college uses for link shortening. ITS has written a guide on how to create your own GO link (useful for quickly accessing your public_html homepage, for example)
Basin Access and Configuration
By enrolling in a Middlebury CS course, a CS user account is created for you. This account inherits your Middlebury username and password, but has resources that are distinct from your college account. The server that hosts this account, and your filesystem is called 'basin.' Many courses will require you to use this server, and it will be a valuable resource to learn to use in any circumstance. To begin, follow the instructions for accessing Basin.
