Welcome to the course website for FMMC/AMST 0104, Television and American Culture

Fall 2009, at Middlebury College.

We will be using this site in a number of ways: it contains the class Syllabus, a feed of Recent News involving American television that you might keep eye on, and it will house your Group Projects throughout the semester. We can also use the site as a place for Discussion where anybody can add thoughts on anything related to the class.

Students: to enable your use of this wiki, please click on the Log in link in the upper right corner of the screen, and login using your Middlebury username/password. This will register you as a user for the site and enable you to edit your projects and add to discussions. Once you've logged in, click on your name to be able to edit your own profile for other users to see some info about you - see Prof. Jason Mittell's profile for an example.

We'll also be using Twitter as a communication tool. You can post any comment and include the hashtag #tvamcult to add to the conversation. You can follow the conversation by clicking here or looking at the feed below.
