Do we purchase software? A response from Lisa Terrier 10/15/12

LIS does not purchase software that will run specifically on a student’s computer. Faculty can request software for teaching and learning though for individual installs it would normally come from departmental or grant funds. Anything that LIS purchases would be for classroom and college owned computers.

http://mediawiki.middlebury.edu/wiki/LIS/Billing

Circ deals with this but relevant to Acq: general book replacement cost is $100 ($25 for browsing) but for OP or other special items Acq will determine the replacement cost.
