Twilight 110 Smart Classroom Guide

In this space you can project from a laptop using HDMI cable, Apple TV/AirPlay and play a Blu-ray or DVD.

Turning System On - Touch the touch panel screen where indicated to begin. This will take you to the Main Menu and this will turn on the TV.

Display - You can have the system on but turn the TV off if you are not ready to show what is on the screen. On/Off icons are on the left side of the touch panel screen.

Projecting from HDMI - Push the Laptop HDMI icon at the top of the touchpanel screen. Connect the HDMI cable to your computer. If you have a Mac or a new Windows 8 computer with Mini Display Port, you will need the appropriate adapter/dongle. (If you do not have one you can loan one from the circulation desk at the Davis or Armstrong Library) You should have projection. If you do not have projection, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Projecting from Apple TV - Press the Apple TV icon on the touch panel. On your computer screen at the top on the right there should be an AirPlay icon, a rectangle with a triangle half inside the rectangle. Click on the icon, you may need to turn on the AirPlay, then a list of Apple TV devices will populate, choose AXT110. On the projection screen there will be a 4 digit code displayed, entered this code into your computer. You should immediately have projection.

If your computer does not have the AirPlay icon or recognize the Apple TV, turn your bluetooth off and then on, this should fix the problem.

Play a Blu-ray or DVD - Push the DVD Blu-ray icon at the top of the touchpanel screen. Power on the Blu-ray player, Insert your disc and press play. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touchpanel. You can play, stop, fast forward, rewind, skip forward and skip backward, pause, and navigate the DVD menu with the arrows on the right.

Turning the System Off - Press the red System Off icon at the the bottom right of the touchpanel screen. Press the green Power Down icon to confirm.
