Davis Family Library 140 - Classroom/Lab

In this classroom you can project from the desktop, a laptop using VGA or HDMI, AirPlay from a Mac laptop and watch a DVD or Blu-ray.

Starting the System

Touch the touch panel, this will light up the screen. Touch the touch panel where indicated to go to the Main Menu. This will also bring the screens down and turn the projectors on.

You can control the lights, screen, and volume from the touch panel.

Projecting from a Laptop

Projecting from HDMI - Press the Laptop HDMI icon at the top of the touch panel screen. Connect the HDMI cable to your computer. You should have projection, but if you do not, go to the troubleshooting section of this page.

Projecting from VGA - Press the Laptop VGA icon at the top of the touch panel screen. Connect the VGA cable to your computer. If you have a Mac, you will need the appropriate dongle to connect to your computer. You should have projection. If you do not, go to troubleshooting section of this page.

Projecting from Apple TV

  • Press the Apple TV Mac icon on the touch panel
  • Choose which projector you want to send it to
  • Click the AirPlay icon and choose LIB 140
  • Enter the 4 digit code that appears on the projector screen


Watching a DVD/Blu-ray - Press the Blu-ray icon on the at the top of the touch panel screen. Power on the Blu-ray player if needed, insert your disc and press play. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touch panel. You can play, pause, stop, fast forward, rewind, skip forward, and skip back.

Please remember to turn the system off when you are finished
