Tamarack Meeting Room

In this room you can project from a laptop using a VGA cable and HDMI cable.

Power on the Television with the remote or on the TV on the left side of the screen.

Project from the VGA cable, make sure the TV is on PC IN input. When you turn the TV on, the current input will be displayed. If it is not on the correct input, press the input button to the right of the channel up/down button on the remote. Use the arrows to navigate to the correct input.

Connect the VGA cable to your computer, it does not matter if the computer is on or not. If you have a Mac, you will need the appropriate dongle/adapter. You should have projection, if you do not have projection, go to the troubleshooting section of the document.

Projecting from HDMI cable, make sure the TV is on HDMI 1 input. When you turn the TV on, the current input will be displayed. If it is not on the correct input, press the input button to the right of the channel up/down button on the remote. Use the arrows to navigate to the correct input.

Connect the HDMI cable to your computer, it does not matter if the computer is on or not. If you have an older Mac, you will need the appropriate dongle/adapter. You should have projection, if you do not have projection, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Troubleshooting

If you have a PC Press Windows+P, this will open the projection options, select duplicate.

If you have a Mac Press Command+F1, this will switch from the current non-projection to mirror, if you would like to use extended display, press Command+F1 again and it will switch to extended display.
