288 Cushman Classroom Instructions

In this classroom you can project from a laptop using VGA or HDMI, you can also play a Blu-ray or DVD and project from any RCA output device.

Powering on the System - Press the power icon in the middle of the touch screen, this will take you to the main menu.

Volume You can control the volume in the room from the right side of the touch screen. If you find the volume is not load enough, you can also boost it from your computer.

Screen - The projection screen is manual, there is a switch on the wall behind you, next to the light switch to make the screen go up and down.

Projecting from HDMI - Press the Laptop HDMI icon. Connect the HDMI cable to your computer. You should have projection, if you do not, go to the troubleshooting section of this page.

Projecting from VGA - Press the Laptop VGA icon. Connect the VGA cable to your computer. You should have projection, if you do not, go to the troubleshooting section of this page.

Watching a Blu-ray/DVD - Press the Blu-ray icon, you might have to power on the Blu-ray player. Insert your disc and press play. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touch panel.

Composite Video - this input is for external RCA devices such as a VCR or Laser Disc player. Connect the RCA cable to the RCA inputs on the front of the equipment rack.

Turn the System Off - Press the red System Off icon at the bottom of the touch screen. It will ask you to confirm that you want to shut the system off.

Troubleshooting - If you have difficulties projecting, go to go/troubleshoot for tips to fix the problem. If you continue to have difficulties projecting, contact the Helpdesk at x2200 for assistance.
