NOTE - This location has a smart board. The smart board can be used as a regular projection screen. To take advantage of the smart capabilities of the board, please read these instructions: StarBoard Smartboard.

Also, in this room you can project from a laptop and watch a DVD and VHS Video.

Turning on Equipment – Press the button for Display On on the Control Panel

Watching a DVD or VHS - Select either the DVD or the VCR button on the button panel. You will need to push the power button on the device, you can also do this with the remote. All functions, such as Play, Pause, Rewind, etc. must be done through the DVD Player/VHS Player or with the remote. PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not push the DVD door closed. Doing this strips the gears and eventually breaks the device. Use the Open/Close button. You can control the room volume from the button panel with the volume dial.

Projecting from a Laptop - Select Laptop button. There should already be a laptop connected in this room and you only need to log in. If there is no laptop connected, connect VGA cable to your computer and plug the 3.5 Audio cable into the headphone jack if needed. If you have a Mac you will need to the appropriate adapter (dongle) You should have projection, if you do not have projection or the image is cropped, see the Troubleshooting section of this document.
