MBH 505 Advanced Computer Science Laboratory Instructions

In this room you can project from a laptop with HDMI or AppleTV and play DVDs or Blu-rays.

Volume - You can control the volume in the room using the knob below the touch panel .

Projecting from a Laptop - Press Laptop HDMI icon on the touch screen. Connect the cable to your computer, it is located at the podium. If you have a Mac, you may need the appropriate adapter (dongle). You should have projection, if you don't, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Projecting from AppleTV - Press the AppleTV icon on the touch panel. On your computer on the top right, click on the AirPlay icon, it looks like a rectangle with a triangle inserted into it. Click on it and select AXN229. Type the 4-digit code that appears on the projector screen into your computer and then you should have wireless projection. Watching a DVD/Blu-ray - Press the Blu-ray icon on the Main Menu. Power on the Blu-ray player. Insert your disc and play. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touch panel. You can play, stop, pause, fast forward, skip forward, rewind, and skip back.

When you are finished please remember to turn the system off to conserve energy.
