In this room you can project onto one or both LCD monitors from a laptop with a VGA cable and HDMI cable, the desktop computer, and watch a DVD or Blu-ray movie. You can also bring in and project from any device device with an RCA output.
Turning the System On - Press the center Power icon on the touchpanel screen to go to the main menu. This will turn on both LCD monitors. You can turn one or both of the monitors on or off as you like from the touchpanel on the left side of the screen.
Volume - You can control the volume with the large dial at the bottom of the touchpanel. You can mute the volume with the Mute icon at the bottom on the right of the touchpanel screen.
Projecting from VGA - Press the Laptop VGA icon at the top on the left of the touchpanel screen. Connect the VGA cable to your computer, you should have projection, but if you do not, go to the troubleshooting section of this document for tips.
Projecting from HDMI - Press the Laptop HDMI icon at the top on the left of the touchpanel screen. Connect the HDMI cable to your computer. You should have projection, but if you do not, go to the troubleshooting section of this document for tips.
Projecting from the Desktop - Press the PC icon at the top in the middle of the touchpanel screen. You should have projection, but if you do not, call the Helpdesk at x2200 for immediate assistance.
Playing a DVD/Blu-ray - Press the Blu-ray icon at the top on the right of the touchpanel screen. You might have to power on the Blu-ray player. Insert your disc and press play. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touchpanel.
Composite Video - If you need a VCR, laser disc or analog video camera, connect the RCA (red, white, and yellow) cable from the device to the front of the rack. Press the Composite Video icon at the top on the right of the touchpanel screen.
Turning the System Off - Press the System Off icon at the bottom on the right of the touchpanel screen. Confirm that you want to turn the system off.
