The following instructions provide a step by step guide to scanning 2D Hand Drawn Cell Animations.
Go to the computer named "Stanley" in Axinn 011.
Turn on the power to the computer if it is not already on.
Turn on the power to the attached scanner and verify that it is connected to the computer via USB.
Log in using your middlebury username and password.
Place your 8-1/2" x 11" paper into the automatic document feeder on top of the scanner. Do place more than 50 pages in at once.
Make sure that the image is facing up in the automatic document feeder and that the first image in the animation sequence is on top.
Push the button on the scanner with the arrow indicating the correct button to push.
Verify that HP Scanner Pro Software Launches and
Set the AutoSave location by selecting "Set" and choose "Workspace/YourName/YourProject". Setting this location to the local "Workspace" drive ensures that you will always have a backup available if anything happens to the Xsan.
Select OK to save the settings.
