Most audio editing programs such as Audacity support editing of multiple audio formats and allow you to convert from one format to another.

WMA to MP3

Some of the audio recording hardware available from the Middlebury library circulation desk save recordings in .wma format.  The playback of this format is supported on most PCs, but requires extra software on Macs.  See:

Flip4Mac is a plugin for the Apple QuickTime player that allows Mac users to playback .wma (Windows Media Audio) and .wmv (Windows Media Video).
