Axinn 105 Classroom Instructions

In this room you can project from a laptop, the Desktop iMac, and play a DVDs or Blu-rays.

Room Light Controls - On the main menu touch Lights. Touch Full, Medium, Low, Video, or All Off to your preferred adjustment.

Screen - The screen will lower automatically when you choose a source but you can control the screen from the main menu as well if needed.

Volume - You can control the volume in the room from each source screen on the touchpanel.

Projecting from the Desktop - The iMac located to the left of the rack is the computer used to project from as a desktop. Press the Desktop icon on the Main Menu. You should have projection. If you do not have projections, call the Helpdesk at x2200.

Projecting from a Laptop - In this space you can wirelessly project from your laptop. Select Wireless Projection on the touchpanel and follow the instructions. You will need to download a software the first time you connect.

Wired Laptop Projection - Press the Laptop VGA or Laptop HDMI icon on the touchscreen. This will turn on the projector and bring down the screen. Connect the cable to your computer, it is located at the head of the table on the floor. If you have a Mac, you will need the appropriate adapter (dongle). You should have projection, if you don't, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Watching a DVD - Press the DVD icon on the Main Menu. Power on the DVD player. Insert your disc and play. You can control the DVD player from the touch panel. You can play, stop, pause, fast forward, skip forward, rewind, and skip back.

Auxiliary - This source is for other devices you might need that are not already available such as a Laser Disc player or Document Camera.

When you are finished please remember to turn the system off to conserve energy.
