Axinn 219 Classroom Instructions

In this room you can project from a laptop, play a DVD and a VHS.

Room Light Controls - On the main menu touch Lights. Touch Full, Medium, Low, Video, or All Off to your preferred adjustment.

Screen - The screen will lower automatically when you choose a source but you can control the screen from the main menu as well if needed.

Volume - You can control the volume in the room from each source screen on the touchpanel.

Projecting from a Laptop - Press the Laptop icon on the touchscreen. This will turn on the projector and bring down the screen. Connect the VGA cable to your computer, it is located at the podium. If you have a Mac, you will need the appropriate adapter (dongle). You should have projection, if you don't, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Watching a DVD - Press the DVD icon on the Main Menu. Power on the DVD player. Insert your disc and play. You can control the DVD player from the touch panel. You can play, stop, pause, fast forward, skip forward, rewind, and skip back.

Watching a VHS - Press the VCR icon on the Main Menu. Power on the VCR. Insert your tape and press play. You can control the VCR from the touch panel. You can play, stop, pause, fast forward and rewind,

Auxiliary - This source is for other devices you might need that are not already available such as a Laser Disc player or Document Camera.

When you are finished please remember to turn the system off to conserve energy.
