Axinn 229 Classroom Instructions

In this room you can project from a laptop with HDMI or AppleTV and play DVDs or Blu-rays.

Room Light Controls - On the main menu touch Lights. Touch Full, Medium, Low, Video, or All Off to your preferred adjustment.

Shades and Screen - The screen will lower automatically when you choose a source but you can control the screen from the main menu as well if needed. You can also control the shades on the windows for a better projected image.

Volume - You can control the volume in the room from the side of the touch panel.

Projecting from a Laptop - Press Laptop HDMI icon on the touch screen. This will turn on the projector and bring down the screen. Connect the cable to your computer, it is located at the podium. If you have a Mac, you may need the appropriate adapter (dongle). You should have projection, if you don't, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Projecting from AppleTV - Press the AppleTV icon on the touch panel. On your computer on the top right, click on the AirPlay icon, it looks like a rectangle with a triangle inserted into it. Click on it and select AXN229. Type the 4-digit code that appears on the projector screen into your computer and then you should have wireless projection. For more information on AirPlay, click here.

Watching a DVD/Blu-ray - Press the Blu-ray icon on the Main Menu. Power on the Blu-ray player. Insert your disc and play. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touch panel. You can play, stop, pause, fast forward, skip forward, rewind, and skip back.


When you are finished please remember to turn the system off to conserve energy.

Mic Level - Press the Wirelss Mic Control icon at the bottom right side of the touch panel. You can control the volume of each mic on this screen. The microphones are located in the small box with the door next to the light panel.
