Spherical Image - RICOH THETA

Axinn 229 Classroom Instructions

In this room you can project from a laptop with VGA or HDMI and play DVDs or Blu-rays.

Room Light Controls - On the main menu touch Lights. Touch Full, Medium, Low, Video, or All Off to your preferred adjustment.

Shades and Screen - The screen will lower automatically when you choose a source but you can control the screen from the main menu as well if needed. You can also control the shades on the windows for a better projected image.

Volume - You can control the volume in the room from each source screen on the touch panel.

Projecting from a Laptop - Press the Laptop VGA or Laptop HDMI icon on the touchscreen. This will turn on the projector and bring down the screen. Connect the cable to your computer, it is located at the podium. If you have a Mac, you will need the appropriate adapter (dongle). You should have projection, if you don't, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Watching a DVD/Blu-ray - Press the Blu-ray icon on the Main Menu. Power on the Blu-ray player. Insert your disc and play. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touch panel. You can play, stop, pause, fast forward, skip forward, rewind, and skip back.

Auxiliary - This source is for other devices you might need that are not already available such as a Laser Disc player or Document Camera.

When you are finished please remember to turn the system off to conserve energy.

Using the Microphones

Mic Level - There is a microphone attached to the podium. Press the Mic Level icon on the main menu to adjust the volume of the microphone accordingly.

There is also a lapel microphone and a wireless handheld microphone in the drawer of the rack. Power on the microphones, adjust the volume as needed.

PLEASE, remember to bring AA batteries!
