To convert audio and video files from one format to another you can use many programs or online services. For College-related video and audio we recommend MiddMedia (see below). You should use programs and online services at your own risk - read the terms of service for such products to ensure that your data is safe and you are not installing anything malicious.

Converting Pictures Images and Graphics

  • Mac: Use the Preview application that comes with your Mac. Usually this is the default application that opens when you double-click a picture or graphics file. File => Save As or File => Export allows you to convert the opened file to a variety of other formats.
  • Windows: Use the Microsoft Paint application that comes with your PC. Click on Start => Programs => Accessories => Paint to open Paint. Use File => Open to open an image file and File => Save As to convert the image file to a variety of other formats. If you have Microsofr Office you can also use the MS Office Picture Manager. Converting Audio and Video Files

Windows
