Creating Outlook Templates
Revision as of 09:51, 13 October 2008 by Petar Mitrevski (talk | contribs)
Here is how you can create an Outlook message template:
Open a new message window.
Fill in all the details that will not change, such as: subject line, attachment(s), message text and delivery options (high importance, return receipt, etc).
Choose File/Save As
Change the "Save As Type" to Outlook Template.
Specify a storage location (desktop, distribution folder, whatever) then click Save. (I generally save the template to the server then create a shortcut on the desktop.)
You can now close your draft message, unsent. You do not need to save the changes!
You can double-click on the message template (or shortcut) and just supply the address, add any customized changes, and send!
