Davis Family Library 230 - Seminar Room

In this space you can project from a laptop with VGA or HDMI and watch a Blu-ray or DVD. You can also host a Videoconference in this space, you will need to contact Media Services for assistance.

Turning on the System - Touch the touchpanel screen anywhere to go to the Main Menu.

Projecting from Laptop - Press the Laptop VGA or HDMI icon at the top of the touchpanel screen. Connect the appropriate cable to your computer. If you have a Mac you will need the appropriate adapter/dongle. You should have projection, if you do not have projection, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Watching a Blu-ray/DVD - Press the Blu-ray icon at the top of the touchpanel screen. Power on the Blu-ray player and insert your disc. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touchpanel. You should have projection. If you do not, contact the Helpdesk at x2200.

Videoconference - Contact the Helpdesk at x2200 to schedule assistance from Media Services.

Composite Video - You can connect an analog vieo source such as a video camera with a tape, VCR, or Laser Disc and connect them to the Red, Yellow, and White inputs on the front of the rack and select the Composite Video Source on the right side of the touch panel screen.

Please remember to turn off the system to conserve energy.

If you are having difficulties projecting, go to go/troubleshoot or call x2200.
