mac not resuming properly from sleep -- could be an issue with a corrupt hibernation file. deleting this file could help (a clean sleep/hibernation file will be recreated next time the computer goes to sleep: 0) Login as a user with admin privileges (if Susan is around she can be logged in, if not a helpdesk staff person will need to login, while connected to the wired ethernet) 1) Open Terminal 2) Type:
cd /private/var/vm sudo rm sleepimage
(whoever is logged in, enter your own password when prompted) 3) Close terminal and restart the computer 4) Put it to sleep.
