Find MS Office version on a Windows PC

  1. Launch a Microsoft product; we'll use Word in this example.
  2. Click the File tab.
  3. Click to choose Account or Help -- whichever one you see.
  • Note: Don't have a File tab? Older versions of Office have a Help menu containing "About Microsoft Office Outlook."

  1. Launch a Microsoft product; we'll use Word in this example.
  2. Click on the menu labeled Word (next to the apple logo in the top left corner of the screen).
