# Click on the "File" menu (top left corner of the screen), then click "Save As". Next to "Save As" type in "yourname-system-profile". Next to "Where" select your Desktop. Click Save. This puts a profile of your system into a text file.

Get a system profile in Windows

  1. Click on the Start menu => Click on Programs (or All programs) => Click on Accessories => Click on System Tools => Click on System Information => Click File => Save As, choose your desktop, name the file "yourname-system-profile".
  2. E-mail the "yourname-system-profile" file to the helpdesk.
