== What is the difference between Measure and Moodle?  ==
 
 
 
Measure is an instance of Moodle that has been in use at Middlebury since 2007 primary for Language School placement and exit exams. Middlebury will be setting up another instance of Moodle this summer (which will be called Moodle) for course sites. Measure can be used now for creating course sites for the Fall 2011 semester and once the new instance is set up we will migrate sites made in Measure to this new instance.

You can log into Moodle which you Middlebury username and password.
 
 
 
== How do I create a site in Moodle/Measure?  ==
 
 
 
Currently you need to request a course site. You can do this by clicking on the [https://measure.middlebury.edu/course/request.php? Request a Site] at the Measure site.  When the new instance of Moodle is set up, course sites will be created via the [[CourseHub]]
 
 
 
== How do I give students access to my Moodle Course Site? ==
 
 
 
Currently, you can give students access to your course site by clicking on the link to "assign roles" in the Administration panel of your Moodle course site home page.  When the new instance of Moodle is set up, students will automatically be added as participants to course sites.  That said, you can still use "assign roles" to add additional students or staff or other instructors
 
 
 
== How will my students find my Moodle Course Site? ==
 
 
 
Students should be directed to the [[CourseHub]] for all course resources.  When you create your Moodle site from the CourseHub, a link to that Moodle site will be added to your CourseHub site.  Students are enrolled in your course site, it will appear in their Moodle home page
