When multiple copies are going into separate collections that use the same classification scheme (like main library stacks and Davison):

  • Each gets a separate copy number. Add the location abbreviation at the top for the copy that will live outside the main library. For example, for two copies which are both getting call numbers CL1 .E9 2002, one of which is going to Main library and one to Davison, the call numbers should be:
CL
1
E9
2002
_______
c.1
Davison
CL
1
E9
2002
_________
c.2
  • Insert a green flag for any item that is not going to the main library.
