POD Criteria
When the following criteria are met, ILL immediately passes a request to Acquisitions for purchase:
- ILL Request from Faculty + Staff (POD-FAC) or students (POD-STU)
- Books or DVDs
- Recent publication (within current or preceding year) OR
- Unfillable via ILL
- Purchase price less then $100
POD Steps
- ILL request item
- CM will search GOBI Acq to see if these are already queued for Approval delivery through YBP
- Order will be placed as a RUSH
- CM adds hold for requester
- Sent to Cataloging and P&P
- P&P delivers item to Circ
- Patron will be notified through the ILS
