Panasonic PV-GS500

Overview

The Panasonic PV-GS500 is the camera used in Sight and Sound 1. It shoots onto Mini DV tape in NTSC format at a resolution of 720 x 480.

This camcorder comes with a variety of features, including a three CCD image sensor, 700x digital zoom, 16:9 wide-screen capability, optical image stabilization and a SD Card slot. This camcorder also features a 4.0 megapixel still camera mode, as well as a 2.7-Inch LCD.
