What is Content?
Content (aka Content7) is an enterprise content management application. It provides tools that help us capture, store, retrieve and manage documents in a structured way. It includes workflow, forms and reporting capabilities. Content management solutions are implemented a department at a time, with the ability to share documents and workflow processes across departments.
How do I get it?
If you're interested in implementing Content talk to someone on the ITS Contacts list at the bottom of this page. For access to the system you may use WebNow, or the desktop client:
WebNow - for Windows or Macs
WebNow is the browser based version of Content. It has all the features of the desktop client except the ability to import documents. Get to it from go/webnow, go/perceptivecontent or at this link: WebNow
Macs require some special configuration, see someone on the ITS Contacts list below for help.
Desktop Client - Windows only
If you need to import documents to Content, then you must use the desktop client. Installation instructions.
Remote Desktop Services
If you use a Mac then your best method for using Content is Remote Desktop Services (RDS). Windows 10 users who need to import documents must also use the RDS.
