In this room you can project from a laptop with VGA or HDMI, watch a movie from the Blu-ray player. You can also bring in another device that you can connect through RCA input such as a laser disk player or analog video camera.

Turning the System On - Touch the touchpanel screen where indicated to go to the main menu.

Projecting from VGA - Select the Laptop VGA icon at the top of the touchpanel screen. Connect the VGA cable to your computer. If you have a mac, you will need the appropriate dongle. You should have projection. If you do not have projection, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Projecting from HDMI - Select the Laptop HDMI icon at the top of the touchpanel screen. Connect the HDMI cable to your computer. If you have an older Mac, you will need the appropriate dongle. You should have projection, if you do not have projection, go to the troubleshooting section of this document.

Watching a Blu-ray/DVD - Select the Blu-ray icon at the top of the touchpanel screen. Power on the Blu-ray player, insert your disc and press play. You can control the Blu-ray player from the touchpanel.

Composite Video - This source is used to project from analog video sources, such as VCR, Laser Disc, or video camera. You will need an RCA cable, (red, white, yellow) connect from device to the the RCA input on the front of the rack.

Troubleshooting If you have difficulties projecting from your laptop, go to go/projection for tips or call the Helpdesk at x2200 for immediate assistance.

Please remember to turn the system off when you are finished.
