Spam Filtering at Middlebury

Information Technology Services (ITS) introduced a new email security service on May 31, 2016. Microsoft's Exchange Online Protection now performs spam filtering, anti-virus, and other security checks on inbound and outbound Internet email.

The way you access email is unchanged -- only the way you choose to handle spam is new and simplified. Lists of allowed and blocked senders can be managed directly with the tools you already use, Outlook and Outlook Web Access. All messages tagged as spam will be found in your Junk Mail folder, without having to log in elsewhere.
