In the past we have used Student Workers mainly to do initial processing of incoming shipments. Since we have vastly reduced our item number selection, and have switched to mostly electronic items, there is not that much for a student to do. The most likely tasks would be editing new electronic records and reshelving. It's up to the discretion of the Gov Docs Associate to decide if she/he needs a student to work regular hours each week. Keep in mind that if there's a special project that requires more manpower, a student could be hired as a temp.
