Here's my suggestion on a new layout for the mainpage. This will involve a "table of contents" for each category. I think that's unavoidable now, and necessary. Most article links ''will not'' be on the main page, but will be in the content page of each of the sections.

In each of these directory pages, all related pages should be listed with full article name and a one-line description of what that page is about. See any of the directory pages for an example.

Looking at this again, I think that the original T.O.C. format is better - having most or all articles linked to directly from the main page. It will be a long page, yeah. -Topher

Here's my suggestion on a new layout for the mainpage. This will involve a "table of contents" for each category. I think that's unavoidable now, and necessary. Most article links will not be on the main page, but will be in the content page of each of the sections.
