Whats My OS

This note describes how to find what your OS (operating system) is.

Windows

1. Click on the Start menu, click on Run (if there's no Run button, type in the search box).
2. Type in "winver". A window will appear. The top of the window will say what kind of OS you have.

Mac

1. Click on the apple logo in the upper left corner.
2. Click on "About this Mac". A window will appear. The top of the window will say what kind of OS you have.
