Yochai Benkler is a professor at Harvard Law School and the author of The Wealth of Networks: How Social Production Transforms Markets and Freedom. His research focuses on issues of commons and peer production via networks, both of which he argues are part of a system he terms the networked information economy. In his book The Wealth of Neworks he discusses the shift from physical production to the decentralization of information through new technological advancements.
