Middlebury Updates

• Middlebury sent out a request for proposals (RFP)
• Middlebury Web Makeover
• New site will likely use Drupal

Interim Communications Solutions

Jason will communicate these solutions to the MIIS community:

Moodle

• Use Moodle homepage to aggregate important blog posts, student announcements, news, etc.
• Monterey Focus blog entries will be imported to Moodle homepage via RSS

Google Calendar

• Will be shown under "Events" on the main MIIS site
• Will be embedded in the Moodle homepage
• Can easily be turned into a widget to be added to blogs, etc.
• Waiting on Middlebury to add a plugin to the WordPress installation so we can add the Google Calendar to the sidebar of campus blogs
