Many software publishers offer educational discounts for college students and employees (faculty and staff) for their personally-owned computers. Look for educational discount links on the software's website or use the website's contact us options to inquire if you can't find such a link. You may need to use your Middlebury email address if prompted.

Buying Computers and Accessories on Campus

Note: Middlebury College does not sell or give away its used computers.
The Middlebury College Bookstore (443-5334) has an Apple Campus Store. Prices reflect the educational discount, when available. The employee discount cannot be used for Apple products. Additional accessories such as printer ink cartridges, cables, etc. are also sold at the bookstore. If you want to know what is eligible for a discount, just ask.


Learning to Use Your Computer and Software

As a current student or college employee, you have access to Lynda.com, which provides video tutorials for learning to use operating systems (Windows, OS X, Android, etc.) and software, along with other technology or business-focused topics.
